Eat more fruit, veggies, citrus and preformed Vitamin A to prevent fibroids

This study shows that all of those are inversely associated with uterine fibroid incidence in African American women.

The A is "preformed" which means that it's from animal sources rather than fruits and veggies. You can get that eating fish or taking Cod Liver Oil (the one linked to here is a particularly high quality one) or liver (if you don't like eating it, try these handy desiccated liver capsules)
