This blog is a chronicle of my quest to shrink my fibroids and enhance my fertility, and share what I have learned along the way. I wish I had known some of these things when I originally was diagnosed with fibroids years ago, so I hope others can learn from my experience. Some of my links are affiliate links that pay me a small commission on any purchases made.

I would like to read the whole study, but iy seems to link vitamins a and c with uterine fibroids growth. I would question if these were synthetic or natural instances of the vitamins, though. Our body really can't use A good amount of the synthetic derived vitamins (affecting the actual shape of the nutrient). I could see those in excess as harmful. But would too much natural vitamin a from juicing carrots have the same effect? Would there be a positive balance with all the additional vitamins, nutrients and enzymes found in veggies and fruit (whole or juiced)? I'm not sure I fully trust research that singles out the vitamin, as if it acts on it's own in nature, too.
Hi Karin, You raise some excellent points. I completely agree with you, these studies that just single out one thing in isolation are not really helpful at all!
