Interesting article on this Chinese herb often used for fibroids.

About the previous comment, I have seen varying data concerning whether embolization is truly a safe choice for women who want to preserve their fertility. I believe the jury is still out, so anyone who is exploring embolization and wants to retain their fertility should be sure to ask a lot of questions.
Dr McLucas does an unnecessary laparoscope so he can get paid by women wanting embolizations. A radiology tech is the only one that gets paid and does the actual embolization. I know because I had the McLucas unnecessary procedure and embolization in 2002. Dr McLucas lied to me and said he was the only Dr doing embolizations at the time bc they were so new. He told me that embolizations preserve fertility 100% which was also a lie. I trusted him and had the embolization. A year later I found out that my grapefruit-sized fibroid had shrunk but turned necrotic and made a hole through the complete thickness of my uterine wall into my body. I ended up having an open myomectomy anyway to remove the dead infectious fibroid tissue and eight other fibroids. It turns out embolization is not recommended for such a big fibroid. I think I am lucky I did not have a fatal infection. I now do a lot more homework before I jump into things!
