why sitting down for long periods of time is bad for you

..even if you exercise otherwise.  I am so guilty of this!  Interesting article.

Thank you for sharing this. I work at home and felt guilty for frequently getting up to stretch, look out the window, etc. Now I'll strive to decrease my time sitting on a chair even more. Maybe I'll get a "standing desk" or a ball chair.
