reposting old post on goji for fibroid shrinkers

In going to create a link for my last post when I discovered that there seems to be something wrong with my original post on goji for fibroids so am reposting it here

I've been eating a lot of goji berries. They are a good snack for fibroid shrinkers because they are high in amino acids and iron. Also discovered from this site that they are highly alkaline. What more could one want from a food! They taste like a tart raisin, and they are my favorite shade of red!

Long used in Chinese and Japanese traditional medicine and cooking, goji berries have recently become popular in the West. This Wikipedia page tells everything you would ever want to know about them.

Lately I've been wondering about my goji berries purchased in Chinatown, given the recent problems with various foods and medicines from China. And indeed the Wikipedia page suggests that lots of pesticides may be used on them. So I just ordered some of these, which are certified organic.

A Japanese friend told me that the ninja used to carry goji berries for a snack on the run, as they offered such complete nutrition and fast energy. And indeed that's what I've been using them for. (I like imagining myself as a ninja!) I even made a dinner out of them the other day when I was too pooped to cook!

I leafed through Murad's book The Cellulite Solution and he touts the benefits of goji berries too. (More on cellulite in a future post...)

Hi there, fibroid shrinker. I just wanted to pop in and say hello and see how you're doing with your IVF journey. I wanted to give you an update on what's been happening since I last left a comment.

After nearly 18 months of trying after my first miscarriage, I had a hysteroscopic myomectomy at the end of May and after a 4 week break, my specialist put me on a cycle of Clomid. I am now pregnant. It is in the very early days so we'll see what happens but I'm very hopeful.I also used pre-seed this month and changed my diet. I still have two fibroids to deal with and will start taking those Goji berries you talk about.

I want to send you some babydust and hope you get your BFP soon.

I have been meaning to blog you for sometime and I have finally manage to find time do this.

Thank you for all your advice on this blog. I know that you have move on and are trying to conceive (good luck and fingers crossed for you!) but your advice on shrinking fibroids has been great.

When I started reading your blog over 18 months ago, my period was going mad because of my fibroid which was growing steadily causing me to have heavy periods lasting over 14 days and leaving me very anaemic.

After shuning the conventional medicine prescribed, I have been looking at alternative ways of shrinking fibroids.

I can say after 15 months of acunpunture, taking agnus castus, starflower oil, blackstrap molasses, losing weight, eating more wholegrain food and vegtables, taking up hula hooping, Qi-gong, my period are absolutely brilliant. I just can't believe how much it has change - down to a 4 days, the heaviness of my period has gone and no really clots or spotting between periods.

Unfortunately in England, on the National Health Service, we can't demand an ultrascan but I going to make the assumption that the fibroids has shrink.

Thank Thank you for all your advice. Its definitely has been lifestyle change but has worth it and I will keep going.

I'lI keep an eye on how you are doing I hope this message will encourage you keeping until you get what you want.

Hello IKW,

Thanks so much for checking in!
Congratulations on your pregnancy, that is wonderful! (Wow, that was really fast after the myomectomy!)

As for me, did IVF last month and froze 5 embryos. Now giving my ovaries a break till next stimulation, and looking for a surrogate in the meantime. Still working on trying to shrink the fibroids too, and of course enhance egg quality as much as possible. So plenty to do on my TO DO list!

Hello Irm@v3P
First of all, somehow your comment got lost in the system and I found it just now. Sorry about that!
I thought about it carefully and for a variety of reasons for the time being I am only going to be available to interact with people through the comments on the site. So if you have a question please post it here.
