black cohosh shown to shrink fibroids in menopausal women

Here is a link to the study. The idea was to give black cohosh to help with menopausal symptoms, which it did but at the same time it shrunk the participants' fibroids. Over the 122-week period, 70% of the women taking the black cohosh had decreases in their fibroid size, with average decrease of 30%. That's a lot for just 3 months!

The particular black cohosh used in the study was Remifemin, at 40 mg per day. It's available here and is not expensive. So worth a try if you are experiencing menopausal symptoms -- it's a two-fer for addressing those and shrinking the fibroids at the same time!

Hi Caroline, I lost a lot of weight immediately on the Myers Detox Program.
However, I had an autoimmune problem with my thyroid and Wendy told me that on her stuff the thyroid looked perfect, so I didn't feel like i wanted to continue with her. I felt I had learned from her what I needed.
Later due to the autoimmune condition I stopped eating gluten which enabled me to lose more weight.
I had my fibroids measured by ultrasound earlier this year, and although they said it's hard to compare ultrasounds, it did seem like they were smaller. And most importantly my stomach is not sticking out as much. They are still there though.
I would say try Myers Detox once to see how you like it. She pushes a ton of supplements though so be careful.
