fibroid shrinking drug -- progesterone receptor modulator -- approved in Quebec

Details here.  It's call FIBRISTAL.  Can't use it for more than 3 months due to endometrial thickening, according to this Wikipedia article.  Here's more about it, but it doesn't say how much it shrinks them, only that the effects last for 6 months after treatment.

This is all related to the theory that progesterone is what causes the fibroids to grow.  Which argues against the progesterone cream that many women try to shrink their fibroids.
