This blog is a chronicle of my quest to shrink my fibroids and enhance my fertility, and share what I have learned along the way. I wish I had known some of these things when I originally was diagnosed with fibroids years ago, so I hope others can learn from my experience. Some of my links are affiliate links that pay me a small commission on any purchases made.

Hello!
I've been following your blog for several years and recently (last Tuesday) had a myomectomy to have several fibroids removed. I feel like the surgery is the most postitive and self healing thing I have ever done for myself! For years I worked with alternatives to surgery, but my tumors continued to grow! After surgery I learned that one was the size of a cantalope and had calcified!!! I also had to have two blood transfusions due to blood loss! But on the other side of my fibroid journey I feel so grateful and at peace to know they are gone. I looked like I was 22 weeks pre-surgery. Post: My healing has been slow but for me surgery was worth it. I can now have children if I decide to and one of my nurses told me she had fibroids removed years earlier and had two children.
Thank you so much for your blog and support over the years.
