This blog is a chronicle of my quest to shrink my fibroids and enhance my fertility, and share what I have learned along the way. I wish I had known some of these things when I originally was diagnosed with fibroids years ago, so I hope others can learn from my experience. kind of a weird story, thought I'd share though
It is a happy one though, of a miracle baby. Story here.

I'm wondering how she was able to carry a baby to full term with a fibroid the size of a basketball...was it because of the fibroid's location? they said it was on top of her uterus..
and after she had the baby did they remove it...so many questions I have...
I totally misread that and thought the report wrote "baseball" sized. Wow! I can't imagine. Mine are a good size not that big and started to grow with pregnancy. I do know that at some point they stop growing or do not increase in size with pregnancy...however this is still amazing. Including the fact that she had basically miscarried!

I'm with you, this story raises a lot of questions. Makes me wonder if perhaps the reporter got part of it wrong???
