study links BPA exposure to egg quality problems

Elsewhere in this blog I have talked about the link between endocrine disrupter BPA and fibroids.  It sounds like it's also a problem for egg quality in IVF too.  Information here.  (Interesting the same researcher is studying the effects of heavy metal exposure on IVF.  Hope he's looking at the men and not just the women...)

I'm particularly concerned about the toilet paper.  Evidently recycled toilet paper has BPA in it from cash register receipts that get into the paper stream.  But regular recyled toilet paper has chlorine in it!  Ugh, you can't win!

Also of interest is evidence that BPA may hurt sperm quality too!
