yoga focusing on 1st and 2nd chakras

Now that we have gotten started, my husband and I have been faithful about our daily yoga practice. This is a good time of year to start new habits I think!

Today we did a yoga class for hip opening, that is specifically designed to focus on the 1st and 2nd chakras. As mentioned in past posts, the 2nd chakra in particular is the one that often seems to be an issue for those with fibroids.

Here is a link to it, check it out!

have you tried or heard of nattokinase/serrapetase supplements for dissolving fibroids and clearing them out of the body?

Yes, there's a lot about them on the web. I wrote this post:

From what I can tell, just enzyme supplements alone probably won't be enough but they can be helpful combined with doing other things too.

Note that they make your blood thinner so if you have heavy menstrual flow already it will make it worse...

maca & schisandra seem to help with the heavy flow

Aha. I've tried the maca, not the schizandra...

day 1 I used a combo of maca, schisandra, zinc,& D-flame(an anti inflammatory from Now Foods with curcumin etc). Seemed to moderate the flow rather well. No floods.

BTW, while wending my way around the web, saw recommendations for using magnesium (to dissolve calcification on longstanding fibroids, so that the systemic enzymes can then get to work).

Also recommendations for high doses of Potassium Iodide (because iodine deficiency may be a contributing factor) and these therapeutic doses have shrink power. The iodine must be taken with omega 3 & 6, vit E, methionine & cysteine, and the thyroid activity should be monitored by a doctor.

And recommendations for serrapeptase without the nattokinase (because nattokinase is estrogenic, and also because it has no feedback mechanism telling it when to stop lysing activity so blood may overthin rather than normalize). They seem to like to pair the serrapeptase with pancreatin.

Thanks for the info!

Since you're already doing a daily yoga practice you might be interested in joining YoMoPracMo.

It's a challenge to do yoga everyday for the month of January.

I just found your blog and you give a lot of good advice. I have fibroid that are causing some problems for me. I've been looking into ways to treat them without surgery.

Thanks for all the great information.

Very cool! Although unfortunately my husband and I got busy with work stuff yesterday so I've already broken our pattern.

Glad to hear that you like the blog!

Hi!

I did my Kundalini Chakra journey DVD this afternoon and thought of you. Did you ever recieve yours? Have you tried it? I think it's a really beautiful and thoughtful workout! It asks you to focus your breath on the first and second chakras while chanting Sat Nam - which means True You...very nice!
It was a great insight you posted on the chakras as work for the fibroid. Thanks so much!

Smiling!

Hope things are going well!

Thanks, yes I did get the DVD and it is really good, quite nicely done. (Much better than the other that I ordered at the same time, which had almost no explanation and looked like it had been filmed in someone's living room)

My husband should be getting home from work soon, then it's yoga time! :)
