similarities between uterine fibroids and keloid scars

I thought that this paper extract was interesting, scientists see similarity between composition of fibroids and keloid scars.  Going back to our discussions in this blog of fibroids as result of emotional wounds, seems like fibroids are in some sense quite literally scars!
